HELEN FREIDBERG SCHOLARSHIP
HELEN DeORSAY FREIDBERG TRIBUTE SCHOLARSHIP
(established in 2006)
Every calendar year, one member from each of the 9 GCFM Districts can receive a scholarship (tuition only) to attend GCFM Landscape Design School, GCFM Flower Show School or GCFM Gardening School.

An applicant must be a member of a GCFM Federated Club and may apply for a scholarship to any school in any given year.

An application form must be filled out by the applicant and signed by the president of her/his club.

An application must be received by the chairman of the Helen D. Friedberg Scholarship Committee BEFORE February 15th of the calendar year.

Only one member per club may apply for each course.

The course must be held in Massachusetts.

The applicant may not be a previous recipient of a scholarship for that school.

The scholarship is a one time award.

The scholarship covers only tuition. Books, lodging, travel and incidentals are not covered.

The scholarships will be awarded at the GCFM Annual meeting and must be used in the following fiscal year.
