Civic & Historical Grants
THE PURPOSE OF GCFM GRANTS
is to encourage Member Clubs to pursue community improvements and historic preservation projects. Grants can be applied to new - or a new phase - of an ongoing, permanent planting project.

DEADLINE IS JULY 1
Civic Development Grants are for new or ongoing projects that garden clubs will help maintain. Examples of appropriate projects include (but are not limited to):

Municipal planting projects

Landscaping at schools and libraries

Planting at trails or nature preserves
Historic Landscape Preservation Grants are given for new or ongoing projects designed to preserve the past in the context of the present. Examples of appropriate projects include (but are not limited to):

Restoration of landscaping at a historic site

Creation of an authentic historical garden

A landscape project associated with an historic property
