“Spring-It’s Burstin’ Out All Over” is the theme for the Springfield Club’s Standard Flower Show on May 3, 2014. The spacious, historic home in Springfield’s Forest Park section of Patricia and former Ambassador Mark Hambley, filled with their collections of art from their many assignments in the Middle East, will provide a one of a kind setting. This is a fundraiser for the Club’s scholarship fund.

Evening GC of West Roxbury, "A Container for All Seasons" presented by Suzanne Reed
Container-gardens not only expand your “usable space” but also add visual interest in the urban landscape. Learn the ABCs of container gardening: preparing your pots, selecting plants and the planting process. You’ll also learn how to use a single container and a variety of plants to span multiple seasons. In addition to being an avid gardener, Suzanne Reed is past president of both the East Longmeadow and the Springfield garden clubs. She is the Tornado Relief Chairman for the GCFM and is involved with the Re-Green effort in Western Massachusetts.
