The Community Garden Club of Duxbury (CGCD) celebrates its 90th Anniversary with a standard Flower Show "Muses at the Museum: Art Inspires Art".

Horticultural specimens and floral design entries including designs interpreting art, literature, sculpture, architecture, music and dance. Open and free to the public.

The Springfield Garden Club will commemorate its 100th anniversary with a festive, celebratory luncheon held at the Carriage House on the Barney Estate in Springfield’s Forest Park. Vintage clothing or dress hats welcomed! The Luncheon and Annual Meeting will feature remarks by Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno, Director of Springfield’s Parks and Recreation Patrick Sullivan, Park Department Manager Ed Casey and the Garden Club president Janet Dolder. An optional walking tour led by Michael Tully, Senior Park Project Manager, viewing prominent sites in the park is planned after the luncheon. Participants in the walking tour are urged to wear comfortable footwear.
