Speaker is Sara Crotty and her presentation will be on Orchids 101. Learn about the four basics of orchid culture - temperature, water, light and fertilizer. Discover the different types of orchids and their varying cultural requirements . The talk also includes an overview of potting concepts. Mrs. Crotty is the vice president of the Mass. Orchid Society. Guests welcome.

Plymouth GC, presents "September Sunset Soiree" Fall Fundraiser

The event will bring together club members, their families and friends, and the organizations we support to celebrate the start of a new season.


The two-hour cocktail gathering will take place at the elegant Mirbeau Inn & Spa at the Pinehills. Guests will enjoy hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and cash bar in the Henri-Marie Room and spacious outdoor terrace. During the evening, they will bid on exciting silent auction items, win floral door prizes created by club members, and play a mystery grab bag game for a small donation.

The Plymouth Garden Club is a 501-C3 non-profit organization; all proceeds support our scholarship fund and community projects.

Salem Garden Club Co-Presidents Paula Contilli and Ellen Sweet and the Peabody Garden Club Co-Presidents Tina Smith and MaryEllen Widberg have teamed up to welcome "Art in Bloom" from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.

This program features Meade Fasciano, Senior Associate of the MFA, who will present the behind the scenes story of Art in Bloom, and, award winning floral designer, Linda Ladd, a nationally accredited flower show judge, who will present a live floral interpretation of a work of art.
